Membership Status Change Request

Use these forms to notify APC of a change in your own membership status due to a change in your Unit 4 status.

To notify APC of a change in your name or contact information, please use the Member Information Change Request.

Note: If you have never been a member of Academic Professionals Employee or an employee in Unit 4 at the Calfornia State University, do not use this form. Instead, please contact your own union directly. Thank you.

Note: This form cannot be used to cancel your membership while you remain in Unit4. It's important to understand that—by law—a fair share fee deduction must be taken whenever a paycheck is issued to a non-member for a Unit4 position. Therefore, since the membership dues and fair share fee deductions are both currently 1.0% of gross salary, resigning your membership will not result in any savings unless and until you qualify for the reduced fee during the next fair share cycle.
