The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS)

The U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging: This committee serves "as a focal point in the Senate for discussion and debate on matters relating to older Americans." The committee often recommends legislation to the Senate and publishes materials to assist those interested in public policies relating to the elderly.

American Association of Retired Persons (AARP)

Administration on Aging (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services): AoA is "one of the nation's largest providers of home- and community-based care for older persons and their caregivers." AoA is part of a nationwide partnership called the National Network on Aging, and seeks "to promote the dignity and independence of older people, and to help society prepare for an aging population."

The Institute for Women's Policy Research: "IWPR focuses on issues of poverty and welfare, employment and earnings, work and family issues, the economic and social aspects of health care and domestic violence, and women's civic and political participation."

The Senior Citizens' Website: This site provides information for senior citizens on a variety of topics, including health resources, travel, recreation, finances, trusts, wills, etc.
