ARTICLE 1
RECOGNITION
| The Trustees of The California State University recognize the Academic Professionals of California, the Union, as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for bargaining unit 4 as defined by PERB. As presently constituted, this includes the employees in classifications described in Appendix A of this Agreement. | |
| The parties further agree that employees in classifications described in Appendix B of this Agreement and all other management, supervisory, and confidential employees as defined in the HEERA are excluded from the bargaining unit. | |
| If the parties disagree as to the inclusion of a new classification in the bargaining unit, either party may seek a unit modification pursuant to the procedures established by the PERB. |
