Don't
Delay In Consulting APC On Workplace Issues!
(The
APC Advocate, Spring 2003)
This advice from your Union is more
important now than ever . . .
Whether or not you’re an APC member,
when you have a potential problem—or suspect there may be an issue
in the workplace—contact APC immediately!
There are strict timelines within
which issues must be raised in order to protect your contractual
rights, so don’t risk losing your rights by hesitating to contact
your Union!
You can access a current APC contact
list by selecting your campus from the "APC
Contacts" menu on the main navigation bar (in the left margin
of this page), or click here to go directly
to the "APC Contacts" page. As always, a current
contact list of your Union leaders can also be found in the "centerfold"
of the latest issue of The APC Advocate.
Start by calling one of your APC campus
stewards. If you can’t reach a steward, call APC’s Vice President, Barbara
Petersen.
If you can’t reach a steward or the Vice
President in an emergency, call APC’s Statewide Office for a referral:
(510) 482-1155.
